I have a confession: I did not take art in high school. I could draw a little bit before, but when I took a life-drawing class last summer a whole new world was opened up to me. It’s with this newfound appreciation for the arts that I can fully marvel at Sam Spratt portrait illustrations which are phenomenally realistic. He’s created works for Gawker and Gizmodo as well as created artwork for album covers. Every time I see his work, it inspires me to pick up a pencil or paintbrush and just have at it. You can find more of his work and buy his prints, here.
